Kid mohair is the softest yarn as mohair can come. Knitting with mohair alone creates a lacey, lightweight shawl. Holding a strand of mohair along with a strand of wool creates a project with a wonderful "halo" adding instant softness and elegance. There is a whopping 459 yards in each 50 gram skein.
