The trend of combining crochet and knitting shows no signs of stopping! Are you ready to get on board?

Join us and make Jethro by Tanis Lavallee over the course of five classes.

We love this pattern because it's a chance to play with colours, while mastering both knitting and crochet. It is also size-inclusive!

NOTE: You MUST know how to crochet and knit before this class starts. If you haven't tried it, we have a Learn to Crochet/Knit classes here.

You will learn: how to make granny squares; a continuous join-as-you-go method of joining granny squares; how to pick up and knit from crochet stitches; adding buttons; and finishing.

Here's what Tanis says about the construction: "This cardigan features a combinations of crocheted Granny Squares for the body and knitted elements for the ribbing and sleeves. First, you make a whole bunch of Granny Squares, then you join them to create the back and two fronts. The fronts are then sewn to the back at the shoulders and side seams leaving openings at the top for the sleeves. Stitches are picked up along the bottom of the sweater for the hem ribbing and then along the front open- ing for the button band. Stitches are picked up around the arm openings and sleeves are knit in the round down to the cuff."

Susan loved this pattern so much, she has made four of them. FOUR!
