Knitting for Olive - Heavy Merino

Sweater knitters this one is for you! A deliciously warm, responsibly and ethically sourced merino that resists pilling.

This is a non-treated merino, so all of the beautiful, elastic properties of the wool remain intact. Goods made with this yarn will keep their shape and wear beautifully. Heavy Merino is a bit more rustic and less soft than their fingering weight Merino. 

Added bonus: it is spun in a way to minimize pilling.

It’s great for sweaters and can be combined with Soft Silk Mohair for extra softness and fluffiness.

It's a 100 % traceable, non-mulesed Merino wool. The traceability ensures that the animals are well taken care off and the farmers well treated and have good working conditions. This yarn is not RWS certified. This does not mean that the animals and farmers are not treated respectfully. It only means, that no farms with this type of sheep have obtained the certification yet.
