Well, well!  Lookie what we have here….I’m like a kid on Christmas morning.  Now don’t get me wrong.  I LOVE winding wool.  Ahem.  But an electric ball winder is just decadent.  Look at it go!  As you will see in the video–it’s kid approved.

I had a visit from my dear friend Ruth this summer and she brought with her (from Nova Scotia) a yarn that I simply fell in love with.  It’s called O wool.  It’s a blend of organic cotton and organic wool.  It has a beautiful tweedy look to it, is light and lovely and comes in the most exquisite palette of soft earthy tones.
