According to Stuart his double knit mitts are the softest and warmest he’s ever made.

Double knitting means that you knit TWO layers of fabric at the same time! Personally, I can’t get that double mint gum commercial from the 80′s out of my head…whatever happened to all those twins?  But, I digress…

Yes, you knit the outside and inside at once.  Stuart did the outside of his mittens in a basic wool (cascade 220) but lined them with baby alpaca (misti worsted).  Sweet.

So!  Come one, come all!  This Tuesday Jan. 10th at 7pm until 9pm.

Bring:

4-5mm double pointed needles
2 colours of worsted weight yarns–Just got in a big load of cascade 220 and I am well stocked in misti alpaca if you want to make the mitts Stuart made.
